Is there vegetarian food offered at the lunches?

Yes.
The food offered is a local "dim sum" of good standard, which offers various menus, including vegetarian dishes.

 

I do not want to go to the lunches. Can I have a discount?

No.
The course cost includes the lunches, whether you choose to eat there or not.


I have passed the "Early Bird" date. Can I still get the "Early Bird" 10% discount?

No.
The "Early Bird" discount is eligible for the participants who place their booking before the "early bird" due date only.


We are 2 in our company that want to go to the course. Can we get a "Group Booking" 10% discount?

No.
The "Group Booking" starts at 3 participants per company. Moreover, the "Group Booking" discount is the same for 3 participants or even 10 participants from the same company.

 
We are at least 3 participants that work in companies that belong to the same holding company. Can we get a "Group Booking" discount?

Yes.
Upon presenting proof that your companies all belong to the same holding company.

 

Is there any other ways to get a better discount?

No.
The only 2 discounts offered are the "Early Bird" 10% discount, and the "Group Booking" 10% discount. No further discount can be extended.


If I book before the "Early Bird" date for 3 people or more, can I get 20% discount?

No.
The discounts cannot be accumulated, and being eligible to a discount for one or two reasons only gives right to 10% discount maximum.


What should I bring to the course?

It is appropriate to bring a writing pad and pen, a tablet or a notebook.
For registration, you must also have with you either your booking confirmation, or a document proving your identity.

 

How to confirm or verify my order?

As soon as you have booked a course, we shall send you an order confirmation by email. If you have not received your order confirmation within 48 hours, please let us know immediately.


What is this charge from the organizer?

All charges are clearly explained in this website at the payment page. All payment processing fees are at the charge of the participant. If you need further clarifications, you may call us at +852 2866 139 or send us an email. Your questions will be answered within 24 hours.


Where is my booking confirmation?

As soon as you have booked a course, we shall send you an order confirmation by email. If you have not received your order confirmation within 48 hours, please let us know immediately.


Can I pay for the course at the door?

No.
Only advanced booking is allowed. Walk-ins shall not be entertained and will be refused access to the course and the premises.
Moreover, presence at the course, coffee breaks, and lunches is open exclusively for the participants, the sponsors, the organizers, and other media partners.


Can I book the course without paying?

No.
A booking is confirmed upon full course payment only.


Can I pass my course booking to someone else?

Yes.
Replacement by someone from the same company is possible without extra cost.
But you must let us know in writing by email before the course happens. Your replacement must come either with your booking confirmation, and/ or an identification document.


I cannot attend, what should I do?

If a participant has to cancel participation, a qualified substitute from the same company can participate instead without extra cost.

I do not speak English, can I have a simultaneous translation/ interpretation?

No. Not in this course.

In case many people have this request, we may create another course with simultaneous interpretation. In this case, the course cost will be different.


Can I take calls during the course?

During the course, all mobile phones and tablets must be switched on "silent" mode. So you will be able to see calls, and may leave the training room to take calls outside of the training room.

No participant is allowed to take calls within the training room.


How can I get an invoice corresponding to my payment?

An invoice will be sent to you by email after receipt of your payment. Upon request, you can also get an original of the invoice either by post, or at the course premises.


How can I get a payment receipt corresponding to my payment?

A payment receipt will be sent to you by email after receipt of your payment, upon request only. You can also get an original of the payment receipt upon request either by post, or at the course premises.


Where can I find a hotel near the course location?

This website features a page accommodation, which lists a number of value-for-money hotels in the neighborhood.


This course is full. What can I do?

Due to academic reasons, the course is limited in number of participants. This insures an optimum teaching quality to the participants. If you happen to have booked too late, then your booking will defer to the same course at a later forthcoming date. We shall keep you advised accordingly.

 

Finally, I cannot come. Can I get a refund?

No.
Our policy is to defer your booking to a later date, in case you cannot come to the course. We must be notified about a cancellation and deferral to a later course date in writing by email and according to these terms:

  •     4 weeks or less prior to course date: no deferral is possible, but replacement by someone from the same company is possible without extra cost.
  •     4 weeks or more prior to course date: deferral to another course date is possible, within 12 months following the course date (we usually offer at least one course per quarter)


What happens if the course is cancelled?

If a course would happen to be cancelled for whatever reason, then all participants having booked will be notified timely, and will have the choice to participate to the same course at a later date.

If a course would happen to be cancelled for whatever reason, and no same course if offered in future, then all participants having booked will be notified timely, and shall have the choice to either participate to another course at a later date, or to get a refund.


What happens if there is a typhoon?

In case there is a typhoon 1 or 3, the course is maintained. In case of Typhoon 8, 9 or 10 then the course is postponed. In this case, all participants having booked will be notified timely, and will have the choice to participate to the same course at a later date.

 

Is there a parking nearby where I can park my car?

How can I get a "letter of invitation" to obtain my Hong Kong visa more easily?

As indicated in this page, you can just ask us for a "letter of invitation", and we shall be delighted to send it to you within 48 hours.

 

What is the procedure to get a Hong Kong visa for my nationality/ country?
